Lajamanu

Lajamanu is located approximately 560km south west of Katherine, and 115km south of Kalkaringi on an unsealed road. The health centre is staffed by a health centre coordinator, a permanent doctor, remote area nurses and support workers. It is regularly visited by specialist services and various KWHB program staff.

The centre services a population of approximately 800 people.

Appointments and home visits

Clients are seen on a ‘walk in’ basis- the health centre does not make set appointments.

Home visits are offered to people who require them. Where a home visit is requested the health centre team will endeavour to provide this service.
